How is the core Transformer working, through today's article hope to help you solve this confusion.
If more than one point is grounded, a short connection loop will be formed within the core. The flux or leakage flux in the area included in the short connection loop will produce a large first-class in the Echo, and the more contacts, the shorter the connection. The more circuits, The larger the circulation. The existence of the circulation will burn the grounding plate and generate discharges and even burn the core, so the core and clip must be grounded. The working flow of the on-line monitoring system for the core grounding current of the Transformer is described as follows:
The leakage current sensor is installed on the grounding of the iron core of the transformer, the iron core of the reactor and the clamping parts, the leakage current of the iron core and clamping parts is monitored, and the data acquisition cabinet is installed on the transformer site and connected to the serial port network server through RS485 cable. The serial port network server is finally connected to the server monitoring terminal via the router.
The data acquisition cabinet converts the analog signal collected by the leakage current sensor into a digital signal and displays it on the digital display instrument. At the same time, the digital signal is transmitted to the serial port network server through RS485 cable, and the monitoring data is displayed in real time through the serial port network server and router to the monitoring center server.
Under the action of the electric field of winding, the core of the Transformer and the reactor and its clamping parts will form different potentials or charge accumulation in the upper parts of the Transformer. These potentials and charges will discharge to a certain extent, which will threaten the operation of the Transformer.. In order to eliminate this discharge phenomenon, the core and clamp must be reliably grounded so that they always maintain the earth potential during the transformer operation.
