Nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy refers to a soft magnetic alloy with nanocrystalline structure obtained by heat treatment on the basis of amorphous alloy, which has better soft magnetic properties. Therefore, the process of manufacture and use of amorphous alloy materials will be energy-saving, and the key development of green energy-saving products in the new century.
Since the United States took the lead in the development of practical amorphous alloy strips, amorphous alloys are gradually replacing traditional soft magnetic materials such as Silicon steel, boomer alloys, and ferrite due to efficient preparation processes and excellent material properties. More and more applications have been obtained in the fields of electricity, electronics, and communications. In the past ten years, traditional soft magnetic materials have been unable to meet the requirements of the development of electronic and communication technologies in the direction of high frequency and small lightweight, and high-quality amorphous and nanocrystalline alloy thin belts have outstanding advantages compared with them. Therefore, it has become an important basic functional material. It plays an important role in promoting and supporting the development of high and new technologies and is a key material in the information, biology, energy, environmental protection, space and high technology fields in the 21st century.
In the field of power electronics, with the maturity of high-frequency inverter technology, traditional high-power linear power supplies have begun to be largely replaced by high-frequency switching power supplies, and in order to increase efficiency and reduce volume, the operating frequency of switching power supplies has become higher and higher. This puts forward higher requirements for the soft magnetic materials. The high frequency loss of Silicon steel is too large to meet the application requirements. Although the ferrite has a low high frequency loss, there are still many problems under high power conditions. First, the saturation magnetic sensitivity is low and the size of the transformer can not be reduced. Second, Curie has low temperature and poor thermal stability; Third, the production of large size iron core yield low, high cost. The conversion power of a single Transformer using a power ferrite does not exceed 20 kW. Nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy has high saturation magnetic sensitivity and low high frequency loss at the same time, and has good thermal stability. It is the best choice for soft magnetic materials for high-power switching power supply. The conversion power of Transformers using nanocrystalline iron cores can reach 500 kW, and the volume is more than 50 % less than the power ferrite Transformer. Nanocrystalline alloys have been widely used in inverter welding machine power supply, and applications in switching power supply in communication, electric transportation, electroplating and other fields are also being actively developed. At present, about 6 % of domestic ordinary nanocrystalline strip material is used in the field of inverter welding machine
Nanocrystalline thin belts are mainly used in the field of high-frequency electronic information. The application focuses on various types of high-quality iron core materials in switching power sources and electromagnetic interference(EMI) filters. Compared with traditional iron cores(such as ferrite cores), nanocrystalline iron cores have high magnetic sensitivity, low loss, and stable performance, and have become preferred products.
